Carl Hansen Outdoor

Carl Hansen’s Indoor-Outdoor collection was designed in 1959  by the Danish architect and professor Bodil Kjær. She has always worked to create harmony between design and architecture.

The collection has been designed with a high degree of comfort, as the furniture is ergonomically designed, making it ideal for relaxation and socializing. She designed her  range of modern furniture for Carl Hansen with “architectonic elements”, as she prefers to call them. Her aim was to create functional, economic and aesthetic solutions, and they are modern classics.

Carl Hansen & Søn makes the furniture in solid teak – a hardwood with that patinates beautifully and requires minimal maintenance.
