Tolomeo - Floor Lamp
The Tolomeo Terra floor light belongs to the now iconic Artemide Tolomeo collection designed by Michelle de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 1987 for the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide. A simple design with discreet lines and cantilevered arms to adjust the lamp whichever way you wish, this floor lamp is both functional and stylish.
The Tolomeo floor lamp consists of a metal structure with two adjustable arms that sit on a vertical lamp rod and remain stable in any position, thanks to a spring-loaded system. A small, conical lamp head made of aluminium is also steerable.
Most of the light is directed directly to the front, but a small part escapes through an opening on the back, creating indirect backlighting. The Tolomeo Terra floor lamp is perfect as an ambient light to create a warm atmosphere or as a task/reading light wonderful to use in offices.
