Designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1930 for his renowned Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic. The Brno Chair reflects the groundbreaking simplicity of its original environment.

An icon of 20th-century design, it is celebrated for its lean profile, clean lines and meticulous attention to detail.

In 2018 Knoll introduced an antique bronze plated finish to celebrate the company's 80th anniversary, available as per request.

    Flat bar frame: Polished chrome. No visible connections between seat and frame.

    Upholstery: Inner hardwood frame cushioned with variable density foam. "Corset-Like" Dymetrol seat suspension enhanced comfort.
    Seat, backrest and arm pads upholstered in Volo and Sabrina leater.

    Note: The KnollStudio logo and signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe are stamped into the base of the chair.
